I am Karla, the girl behind the camera.
A little about me: I'm originally from Mexico City (so I speak Spanglish!), but Nashville is home!
- I've been snapping photos for over 14+ years, and 8 years ago, Karla Derry Photography was born!
- Art has always been my thing. I was that person with a digital camera, making everyone pose in front of random things all the time. What can I say? I’ve always loved capturing moments!
- I've seen Ed Sheeran perform on top of a table before he blew up lol!

What started as a hobby turned into a passion for capturing real moments and the stories behind them.

Couple sessions are always so fun! I love seeing your love unfold in front of my camera! I capture engagement and anniversaries. Sadly, I do not offer wedding photography, but if you elope, let me know!
Family sessions are a blast, even when kids (or parents!) might be a little nervous. No worries, I’m all about those candid, real smiles and giggles. We’ll get the perfect shot, but more importantly, we’ll capture the fun!
I travel outside of Nashville for a small fee if you’re looking for a change of scenery!
